it is true then, you are to be wed and i am to be in pain. You say there is a path for us yet I do not believe in that, the fear of losing you a second time is too large.
Hope is what shatters a heart and mine has been shattered by the thought of perhaps having you in my arms one day without you belonging to another. Though I shall not say those words to you.
Please Princess, do not think of me with sorrow and sadness but think of me when you feel unsafe and know that I will always be here to protect you at a certain distance, a distance that must not be broken.
Seek for me in the Garden though I will not be here physically although as a memory that brings warmth to both of us. I hope that memory will comfort you in the toughest times and will heal your broken heart.

C'est donc vrai, tu vas te marier et je vais souffrir. Tu dis qu'il y a un chemin pour nous, mais je n'y crois pas, la peur de te perdre une seconde fois bien trop grande.
L'espoir est ce qui brise le cœur, et le mien a été brisé, l'espoir de peut-être te serrer dans mes bras un jour sans que tu appartiennes à un autre, meurtris. Mais je ne te dirai pas ces mots.
Je t'en prie, princesse, ne pense pas à moi avec tristesse et chagrin, mais pense à moi lorsque tu te sens en danger et sache que je serai toujours là pour te protéger, à une certaine distance, une distance qui ne doit pas être franchie.
Cherche-moi dans le jardin, même si je ne serai pas là physiquement, mais seulement en tant que souvenir qui nous réchauffe le cœur à tous les deux. J'espère que ce souvenir te réconfortera dans les moments les plus difficiles et guérira ton cœur brisé.
